When Sun first contacted me, the plan was to put together his dream PC with the parts that he had already purchased. Sun was pretty sure that he had all the correct parts so that the Carlsbad Gaming PC Team would be able to focus on putting it together. A few hours into the project, we noticed that the Bykski Distro Plate was a fake, and that it would need to be replaced. The next issue was that Sun had purchased a 44mm thick EKWB EK-Quantum Surface P360M X-Flow Radiator and a 44mm thick EKWB EK-Quantum Surface P240M X-Flow Radiator. These are some thick radiators, and although they would fit inside the case, they would not clear the RAM or the distro plate. A radical solution was needed. By relocating the radiators to the outer surface of the case, we were able to have sufficient room for the fans, motherboard, hardlines, and distro plate. In order to make it look right, Randy custom fabricated metal parts out of aircraft grade aluminum. The end result was not supposed to be totally pretty, but instead it was inspired by controversial designs such as the Suzuki Hayabusa, the Hulk, and K.I.T.T. Super Pursuit Mode. This was now truly an "Altered Beast" and the world's only Super Cougar.
